Awesome Iowa State Cyclones throwback logo neon light available for $160

Want an awesome old-school neon light that reps the old Iowa State Cyclone logo? There’s one currently on sale at an online marketplace for under $200.

Somebody at Bonanza is offering the “Beer Bar Neon Light Sign” for $159, or best offer. Shipping is free on the product, and no taxes are applied. So for those that have a little bartering skills, perhaps they can get the sign for under $150.

First, about the sign. Here’s the description of the 18-by-16 inch sign from seller NJKIM.

That’s a decent-sized sign for the price. Want it badly? Well there’s a few things to consider before signing up for a Bonanza account and ordering your own copy of the sign.

The seller will be shipping it from Hong Kong. Obviously, the question of how good the quality is comes to mind. Also, the thing will probably take about two months to make to somebody’s door here in the continental 48. The plus side is that seller NJKIM has a 100% positive feedback rate after over 200 Bonanza transactions.

I’ve gone the cheap route and ordered plenty of HDMI cables and other super-cheap gadgets from across the pond, but dropping over a bill for something even as cool as this would keep me skeptical. But then again, I’ve gambled and won on refurbished laptops and TV monitors (not from Hong Kong, but you catch my drift).

It’s at least worth considering. Because they’re really damn cool.
