March Madness 2014: Sweet 16 TV schedule, live stream, and announcer pairings released

Shortly before the games were finished on Sunday night, all the tip-off times and TV assignments were set for the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. Iowa State will have the early game at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, and the game will be called by a legendary duo.

The Cyclones’ tilt against the Connecticut Huskies will tip-off on Friday night at 6:27 Central time in Madison Square Garden. The game will be televised on TBS, and the announcers will be Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery.

Yes, good old Verne and Bill, who have already made headlines calling tournament games last weekend. Who can’t resist those screams of onions from a guy that can make any basketball game exciting.
