From the Cyclones’ official athletic website:

"Iowa State seniors Melvin Ejim and DeAndre Kane have been named to the Naismith Award Midseason Top 30. The duo makes Iowa State one of six schools with two players on the list."

Kansas, Michigan State, Wichita State, Syracuse, and Arizona are the other five schools that have two players on the list. Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid made it for the Jayhawks.

The only other Big 12 player on the list is Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart. A notable player on the list is Iowa’s Roy Devyn Marble.

This should give Cyclone fans a realization of how great it is to watch this team. There are two Iowa State men’s basketball players on a list that is filled with incredible talent, such as Jabari Parker, Sean Kilpatrick, Aaron Gordon, Shabazz Napier, Doug McDermott and others.
