At long last, FanSided’s home for Iowa State Cyclones news, analysis, and opinions has its very own podcast!

Attack of the Cyclones is hosted by yours truly, Brian Spaen. My goal is to turn AOTC into a weekly podcast very soon. It will be a short podcast (nothing exceeding 30 minutes) that focuses on weekly news, expanded takes on opinions, answering questions, and even interviews!

For now, I’ll be doing some trial runs for the rest of this calendar year as I get things set up. Expect a variety of short bits throughout the rest of the holiday season, and I would love to get some feedback on what people think of the podcast.

Here’s the first episode of the trial run. I give some expanded thoughts on the Iowa State men’s basketball team did in Honolulu and give an update on the women’s basketball team.

Go ahead, give it a quick listen – it’s only 10 minutes long. Quality is most important to me, so don’t expect a podcast with shoddy audio sound. I’ve purchased a Blue microphone just for future podcasts and radio shows, so even though I’m just beginning this podcast it will sound like one of the more professional podcasts that you listen to.

As I get more comfortable, hopefully the podcasts will get better!

Don’t forget, Clones Confidential does already promote a podcast! Listen to the Hilton Magic Community Call-In show, hosted by Brad LaFratte and CC staff writer, Brian Voss. Check out previous episodes here, and don’t miss the newest episode live on Monday, January 6th, at 8:30 PM Central time.
