From Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com:

"White, who was acquired in a trade this summer, has had an up-and-down preseason but seemed to be in a solid position to make the team heading into final cuts.In addition to White, the Sixers have also released Vander Blue according to a league source."

According to the source, Mac Koshwal and Khalif Wyatt were two other cuts made earlier today, and the 76ers still need to make one more by Monday night.

White played in five of the 76ers’ preseason games. He averaged 19 minutes in those games, and in much of that he appeared to be sluggish. White had 25 points and 22 rebounds, but struggled mightily with 17 turnovers and 20 personal fouls. In White’s fourth game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he fouled out after just 17 minutes of play.

Will the former Iowa State superstar get another chance in the NBA, or will the player that was ranked dead last in ESPN’s rankings be forced to either move things overseas or end his career?
