A start time has been finalized for the Iowa State football team’s game against the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes on Thursday, September 26th.

Conference USA released a preliminary college football schedule on Tuesday detailing all the games that will be on various networks and listed their start times. The Iowa State-Tulsa match is scheduled for 6:30 PM CT. No specific network was listed next to it but the game fell under the “FOX Sports Schedule.” Either the game will be regionally shown on FSN or nationally on the new Fox Sports 1.

Matt Sarzyniak, who follows the college football schedule and how the games are distributed on the networks, predicts the game will be on FS1.

For those worrying about getting the new network, FOX announced that it will “launch [August 17th] in 90 million homes.” Those with DirecTV and Dish Network don’t need to worry, and Mediacom should pick it up because of local interest in Big 12 sports.

With a game against the Texas Longhorns the following Thursday, don’t be surprised to see ESPN pick up that game. A number of ESPN’s Thursday night slots have been filled but the night of October 3rd is still vacant.
