Here are today’s predictions for the round of 64 in the NCAA Tournament.

It wasn’t the greatest day of picking games for CC yesterday, going just 1-3 in the West region which had the biggest upset of the tournament so far. Anyone thinking Harvard was going to win either had never watched New Mexico play or they have an extreme hatred for Steve Alford.

Which means the majority of the five percent of brackets still perfect on ESPN.com are University of Iowa fans.

Central times listed. Clones Confidential went 9-7 yesterday, and is 12-8 in predictions so far.

(12)Mississippi vs (5)Wisconsin – 11:40 AM

Never doubt the style of Marshall Henderson, who creates the potential for Ole Miss to win any game in this tournament. If he ever finds a moment where a game is blown out in this tournament, I wouldn’t be surprised if a defender decks him out frustration, but Henderson may not be enough to overcome one of the best defenses in this tournament.

Badgers 59, Rebels 50

(13)La Salle vs (4)Kansas State – 2:10 PM

Oklahoma State didn’t make the Big 12 look great getting blown out against Oregon, but I really don’t see how KSU struggles in this one. The Wildcats should clean up the offensive boards and the Explorers will need the 3-point shots to fall to get the upset.

Wildcats 64, Explorers 56

(15)Iona vs (2)Ohio State – 6:15 PM

The offensive numbers are impressive for Iona, even in a smaller conference. But the red flag is raised on free throw attempts, which is 145th in the nation. They likely won’t get too many calls against Ohio State either.

Buckeyes 71, Gaels 58

(10)Iowa State vs (7)Notre Dame – 8:45 PM

Preview/prediction coming later today.
