Things get off to a fast start Monday with both Kansas schools sitting tied atop the Big 12. Iowa State Cyclones fans have been counting down for the big rematch against the Kansas Jayhawks, and this will mark ISU’s first and only appearance on ESPN’s Big Monday schedule this season.

With a win on Monday, the Cyclones will still have slight hopes to grab a regular season conference championship. But they will have the toughest road left of the other top three teams in the conference.

On the women’s side, Iowa State fell just off the AP’s Top 25 last week, but has a chance to get in after cruising to a 69-50 victory over Kansas State on the road and Syracuse falling to South Florida. They will be facing two of the bottom four teams in the conference this week.
