The Iowa State Cyclones Get an 8-Seed; Will Play UCONN in First Round

Well, it is going to be tough for Iowa State to make a deep run in the tournament. After an awesome season, the Cyclones were awarded an 8-seed and will play the defending national champions, the UCONN Huskies, in the first round. The game will be played in Louisville on Thursday. If Iowa State defeats UCONN, they’ll have a tough task with the overall number one team in the tournament in Kentucky. To make matters worse, Kentucky will be playing in their home state.
