Bio: Daniel Burton was the first lineman that committed to Iowa State this year. Burton is versatile and can play both tackle and guard (he thinks he will play tackle in college). ESPN Recruiting Nation has Burton ranked as the 7th-best prospect in Oklahoma. When Burton was visiting with Dan McCarney and North Texas, McCarney also promoted Iowa State saying nothing but positives. Besides excelling on the field, Burton has above a 4.0 GPA. I expect Burton to be the anchor of the offensive line in a few years.
