Iowa State to Face Rutgers in Pinstripe Bowl

Last year's Pinstripe Bowl (Kansas State vs Syracuse)

According to Brett McMurphy of CBSSports.com, Iowa State will play Rutgers in the Pinstripe Bowl.  As you probably know, the Pinstripe Bowl takes place in Yankee Stadium in New York City.  The game will be played December 30th.  Last year, Syracuse beat Kansas State by a score of 36-34.  Rutgers has already played a game in Yankee Stadium this season, defeating Army 27-12.  This isn’t official but it looks pretty certain.  Check out ClonesConfidential.com in the next few days for more information regarding this possible news.

Playing in the Yankee stadium would be pretty cool.

Yes, Yankee Stadium is awesome and will be fun to watch the Clones play in it. However, Yankee Stadium in December may be too cold for some people. @Charlotte74

Congratulations to Iowa State on the bowl appearance, and thanks to all of you for helping Alabama get our rematch with LSU. The irony that a Cyclone helped Alabama after another one hurt us is amazing.

@TonyOrlando You’re welcome. I know most people wanted OSU in the Nat’l Championship but personally, I can’t wait to see the rematch. Good luck against LSU, I’ll be rooting for the Tide.
